My work explores memory, nostalgia, decay, repetition and recreation, all via the mediums of illustration and print. My current project is an exercise in remembering living in Lisbon through the unique experience of life-drawing. I’m interested in how so much time there was spent drawing the models yet all I have left now from hours spent with them are drawings, bodies and memories. Therefore, every print offers another opportunity to remember the colours, structures and environments of the city, displayed on the human form, with the mono-print process altering these recollections each time.
