Emilia Bryant is an oil and acrylic painter, based in Leeds and Hertfordshire. Interested in energised marks in her depictions of the human form; her work is an ode to her love of abstract expressionists such as Willem de Kooning and Lee Krasner, coupled with a passion for life drawing and figurative painting. Her artistic process is informed by her perception of the body; as a series of spirited gestures and colours rather than a static object.
