‘Trust in the process’

I am a multi-disciplined artist who works in a range of mediums including photography, print-making and interactive installation work. My work is weighted in the development of photography and ‘the photograph’. Looking in depth at capturing an image and then the manipulative manner that other processes can manifest as, proceeding the moment when the initial image is captured.

The basis for my practice is the formation and development of a process. Processes navigates the direction of intentions within my work. Photographs are a way of capturing atmosphere, narrative and truth, I choose to push photographs through a multitude of other processes, take it out of its original format and context and experiment with the moments where it no longer becomes a photograph anymore and explore why there is or is not a shift in its perceived meaning.
