Naomi Marchbank is a transdisciplinary artist working across various digital media, printmaking and sculpture. Their practice focuses on situating the imperfect individual within visually mathematical and ridged settings, and observing the complexities that arise when operating between the handmade/the human and the technological. They often make use of repetitious processes involving duplication of singular units of space – commonly the square. Recent interactive works encourage viewers to become part of their systematic practice by generating spatial constructions through structured play with adaptive modular sculpture.
