By acknowledging that life is characterized through death – the processes of change as an inherent part of life – I confront mortality in my practice, consisting primarily of paintings, drawings, and photography.

I depict surrealist representations of this impermanence and the struggles within these states, imbued with other philosophical and religious (particularly in Christianity and Buddhism) explorations in relation to my own autobiographical experience of mental health and the body.
